Regulations on management of special design construction
 

I. There should be at least 1 special design booth per 50m2 with a 4kg ABC fire extinguisher (available for renting onsite).

II. The carpets placed on the special design booth should be qualified fireproof blankets.

III. Cleaning requirements

All exhibitors or entrusted constructors of special design booths should submit special design booth management fee and cleaning deposit at the Customer Service Center onsite before moving into the venue for construction. All items (including displays, decorations, carpets, etc.) brought to the booth by the exhibitor should be removed from the venue after exhibition. The removal and shipment of said items should not cause damage to venue floors and facilities. Exhibitors can obtain deposit refund at the Customer Service Center after passing cleaning evaluation from director of venue cleaning department. The cleaning deposit will be withheld as cleaning fee for any remaining items left at the booths with no refund.

IV. No unauthorized modifications to booth construction plans already approved by the Convention and Exhibition Center are allowed. In the event of change or modification to said plans, approval from the organizing committee or onsite Customer Service Center is required in advance. 

V. The booth can be put to use after onsite safe productions evaluation team accepts construction quality.

VI. Construction regulation

1. The construction unit must sign “Safe Practice Agreement for Constructing in Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center” and file a construction record at the Customer Service Center.

2. Special design booth engineering plans and construction plans must be designed or evaluated for construction qualification, booth structure, materials, power supply safety, and other aspects by the main venue construction supplier before the constructor moves into the venue. Unauthorized constructors will be denied access to the venue by the Customer Service Center. All special design application files should be submitted by the constructor to the Customer Service Center for documentation and filing.

3. The design and construction of exhibition area and booth should not exceed allowed functional areas. Constructions violating construction limits will be required to be removed and the violating sponsor (organizer), exhibitor, and constructor will be held accountable.

4. The overall structure height limits of special design booth next to walls are: 4.5m (Area D), 6m (Area B, including platform and hanging objects). The overall structure height limit of special design booth in the middle of the exhibition hall is 6m (including platform and hanging objects). The main fire passes should be at least 3 meters wide and are not allowed to be occupied by booth constructions.

5. The main construction and facilities of the venue should not be damaged, tainted, or compromised in other ways, including: using nails and poles on venue floors or walls for fixing objects; using grease, paints, glues and other hard-to-clean materials on floors or walls; leaning against, pressing, pulling, and hanging objects onto venue walls, ceilings, and various special-purpose facilities and equipment (e.g. pipelines, imbedded components, etc.); and hanging structure weight bearing object without approval.

6. Construction materials used for booth must be fireproof or inflammable. If wood, gauze, and other flammable materials are needed for booth construction, such materials must go through fire-preventing treatments before entering the venue. Wooden materials must be covered with fireproof paints or decorative high-pressure laminate. Fabric, gauze, and other textiles must be submerged in fireproof liquids before use. Fireproof qualification of said materials is determined by whether naked flames can be observed in onsite combustion tests.

7. All glasses used for booth construction must be toughened glass, laminated glass, or other high-safety glasses.

8. Unauthorized, unqualified (according to relevant tech regulations or specifications) , and unsafe booth construction will be suspended by the Customer Service Center and the constructor will be required to comply with relevant regulations.

9. Cutting machines, electric saws, and spray paints are not allowed at the construction site. Electric installations must be performed with constructors holding qualifications. Electricians and welders must be valid certificate holders and carry their certificate to the Customer Service Center for construction record filing. After filing, the organization committee electrician will indicate porting points for the construction.

10. Constructor shall not open venue floor slot cover plates without authorization during construction or use floor slots as cable paths, but should establish independent cable paths within their booth area.

11. Constructors should remove all special construction materials and wastes of their booths from the core venue of the Convention and Exhibition Center within allowed move-out time slots. The Customer Service Center will refund the deposit after confirming the move-out.

12. Exhibits and other major commodity displays should be removed from exhibition venue areas after being removed from exhibition halls in a timely fashion. Piling of said items at the venue is prohibited. Items causing pass blocks in violation of this regulation will be removed and the violator will borne all relevant costs.

13. Safety accidents caused by constructions conducted exhibitor and constructors will result in penalty to be paid by the violating parties according to “Handling Measures of Violation of Onsite Construction Safety Regulation of Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center”

14. Exhibitors and constructors must follow national laws and regulations and adopt necessary safety measures to ensure the safety of booth construction workers.

15. All booth construction practices inside the venue must obtain authorization from the Customer Service Center.
